While this doggie car seat is generous in size and offers lots of comfort, I was unable for install. For starters, there are no instructions and lots of straps and buckles. It looks as though some of the straps need to go under the car seat, which is an impossible feat for my vehicle and my husband's truck. My intention was to install in the backseat, not the front. Front seat would probably work, although I am unable to say. But that means passengers ride in the back. Not in my car!I would not recommend.This dog car seat, travel bed and tote is meant for small and medium dogs. It is quality made with suede straps and plush material. It looks great, but our dog just doesn't like it. She won't sit in it or curl up or anything. Installing it is also a pain as there are no directions.Might be great for some dogs, probably up to 20 pounds, but not for ours!This is a review of the DogGoods Dog Car Seat, Dog Car Bed And Tote Bag For Small Dogs.I am always looking for good dog car seats for my 12 pound Maltipoo so I was eager to get this. I was extremely frustrated trying to put it together, but once I did it works fine and my dog seems to be very comfortable in it.My biggest complaint - and this is a big one - is that this dog bed/car seat does not come with any instructions. To figure out what’s going on and how to set it up, you have to look at the photos on the Amazon product page. It really took us a long time to finally get it right and we have put together many dog car seats and beds over the years.On the plus side side, this product really looks luxe in the gray and I love the suede straps. Once the top loose pillow is added it is very soft and like I said, my dog seems to love it and he is well-secured.So once we figured out how to put this together as a car seat. It’s easy enough to attach the suede straps behind the seat and tighten them securely; the straps towards the front are more confusing and are used to loop around the front material to form the front of the seat. I wish those straps were a bit longer but we got it to work. it I’ve attached photos to explain what I mean.The hoop/handles are great if you want to use this to carry this product, but they are a bit in the way if you used this as a car seat. Again, I’ve attached photos - the photos are taken before placing the separate cushion on top which is easy.All in all, we are able to use this as a car seat and it easily fits our 12 pound dog. It does not boost him quite as high as I’d like (he can’t see out the side windows) but he falls asleep in it right away and I am happy he is secured.This dog bed is very pretty and well made. I have a 20 pound dog and he just barely fits in it. I am hoping that with some use the cushions won't be so puffy and he'll fit better.There were no instructions at all. I had to go to Amazon and figure out how to put it together from the pictures.We are using it as a dog seat in the car. Although you can fold it and carry, for the everyday use the handles get in the way.All in all, it's a nice dog bed.. very durable. I'm glad it's washable too.I think I've figured this one out, but I'm not positive. Time and use will tell. It would have been nice if it had come with instructions. But it appears to be well-made with quality materials. Sturdy, thick cushions; comfortable. Nice for our dog to be carried to the car in the same bed she uses at home.If Indiana Jones was a dog, he would use this car seat. It's got a vintage, rustic vibe and is like a luxurious little couch for your dog or cat to sit inside of while on the go. But it's honestly stylish enough that it could be your animal's primary bed at home, too.It took me a couple of minutes to figure out how to "assemble" this out of the box. Which isn't really fair because it doesn't really need assembly. But there's a certain way you have to affix the straps in order to get it to look and function like it does in the photos.The middle cushion is removable, which is genius. The fabric feels washable and resistant to moisture, which will come in handy. And the handles and strap allow you to easily pick it up and carry it around, even if there's a pup or kitty inside.One of my favorite features is the addition of two elastic pouches on either side. Perfect for storing leashes, toys, treats, poop bags, etc.This is a very well cushioned dog seat that can also be a bed. I'll use it as a bed only when traveling and will be happy to have one less thing to pack It's great for a dog who likes to snuggle into something soft. The fabric seems to be very sturdy, but also comfortable. The seller states it is machine washable. I cannot attest to that because I haven't yet washed it, but it appears to me that it is well made and would hold up to a machine wash. I let my suspicious 20-pound dog get used to the seat in the house and had no problem getting him to sit in the car. As you can see from the pictures, he can sit in it, or the front part can lay flat so he can stretch out but still be cozy. In the last picture, he was ready to fall asleep after a long time away from home.The seat arrived all closed up, held together with leather straps and two leather handles. You can use it this way just for transport or as a dog carrier, but I think for a dog smaller than mine. There were no instructions at all. I took it apart and easily assembled it properly but I was uncertain how to use it in the car. A visit to DogGoods Store website solved that problem. I found written instructions and a video. I have been looking for a dog car seat for a long time and an very pleased with this one. I chose the gray color because the seats in my car are gray.I wondered if the dogs would like it,well my pug has taken to it so much ,that I found him sitting in it,on my office chair,how he got up there with grace I do not know folks,but he loves it
